Van Cleef & Arpels: Finest Front and Back!

Van Cleef & Arpels was originally established by Alfred Van Cleef and his father-in-law Salomon Arpels in Paris, 1896. Their names have become synonymous with the highest quality and design in fine jewellery, and their jewels have been worn by some of the most celebrated style icons of the 20th Century. Van Cleef & Arpels have maintained their flagship store in the Place Vendôme in Paris since 1906 when premises opposite the famous Ritz Hotel were first obtained. Today, you may even see pieces by VCA featuring views of the Place Vendôme or the Column Vendôme which stands in the centre of the square.

For us, it is often easy to identify a piece by VCA simply because the workmanship and quality goes far beyond the ordinary - the back of a brooch is as beautifully made as the front, the inside of the ring is as expertly finished as the outside, and so on.
