This Bronze Ring from 1000-1500AD is from our “Antiquity Range” which is expertly appraised and fully certificated. The ring is formed with a circular hoop and bezel in the form of a Greek cross with scalloped arms (possibly crocodile head form?). The cross that crusaders wore was a symbol of martyrdom, and to die in combat was considered a great honour. The crusades were military expeditions, beginning in the late 11th Century, by European Christians into the Holy Lands. This ring is of a type that a crusader may have worn on such expeditions.

ABOUT OUR JEWELLERY
This piece has been specifically selected by us, for you. We choose vintage and antique items which we think are beautiful, elegant and classic at a range of price points between £30 and £3,000. Generally, this means we only ever have one of each piece. We don’t select pieces which are “mass market” but rather items which are more individual. This means that once an item has been purchased, it really has gone. Each piece comes in an attractive jewellery presentation box.
