This beautiful antique Victorian garnet and split pearl ring in 18ct gold is a real ornate beauty. We love the deep dark purple colour of the cabochon garnet which refracts gorgeous pinks and maroons almost with a moonstone or star sapphire like quality. It contrasts fabulously with the light iridescent pearls either side. The setting itself is ornate and befitting of such a gem.
The band is unmarked but has been tested using a thermo-scientific nitron handheld X-ray analyser for testing metals and tests as 18ct gold.
