Sometimes there are just items of jewellery that take the breath away and this is one of those. It is a beautiful emerald and diamond piece from the Georgian era.
The ring is set with three individually-cut emeralds which have a deep seaweed green colour and are in good condition (quite impressive given they are 200-300 years old)!
Either side of the centre emerald stone (4mm x 4mm) are four rough cut diamonds of approximately 2.5-3pts each.
The part that takes the breath away, however, is the carved band which is engraved with flowers to the shoulder and flowing undulating patterns around the whole band.
It is a truly unique and special piece with a long history. There is no doubt it would have been commissioned for someone of importance - the design and intricacies would have been painstaking work for the goldsmith who created this work of art.

ABOUT OUR JEWELLERY
This piece has been specifically selected by us, for you. We choose vintage and antique items which we think are beautiful, elegant and classic at a range of price points between £30 and £3,000.
Generally, this means we only ever have one of each piece. We don’t select pieces which are “mass market” but rather items which are more individual. This means that once an item has been purchased, it really has gone.
Each piece comes in an attractive jewellery presentation box.
