FIRE GARNET (PYROPE)

Fire garnet is a mesmerizing stone, described as “living fire.” It can range in color from blood red to deep crimson, including shades of near black, scarlet, violet, purples and even indigo.

The mineral name for fire garnet is ‘pyrope’ which derives from the Greek for fire and eye and it is easy to see why!

The deep red hue of pyrope garnet means that it is often mistaken for ruby and is a superior stone to almandine garnet because it tends to have fewer flaws and inclusions.

ABOUT OUR JEWELLERY

This piece has been specifically selected by us, for you. We choose vintage and antique items which we think are beautiful, elegant and classic at a range of price points between £30 and £3,000.

Generally, this means we only ever have one of each piece. We don’t select pieces which are “mass market” but rather items which are more individual. This means that once an item has been purchased, it really has gone.

Each piece comes in an attractive jewellery presentation box.
