This beautiful antique Victorian sterling silver bangle bracelet is a gorgeous piece of Victorian history manufactured in 1883 by the Minshull & Latimer of Vyse Street in the jewellery quarter of Birmingham.
It depicts to one side an open flower, perhaps a rose or poppy, and to the other a series of fuchsia flowers; these are separated by a ribbon.
The bangle is in good shape for a piece of jewellery nearly 140 years old. There are a few small dings and surface scratches but nothing especially noteworthy. Really it’s in lovely condition.
We love Victorian sterling silver bangles and this is a cracker. Own a piece of history.
The bangle measures approximately 6.5cm x 5cm.
ABOUT OUR JEWELLERY
This piece has been specifically selected by us, for you. We choose vintage and antique items which we think are beautiful, elegant and classic at a range of price points between £30 and £3,000.
Generally, this means we only ever have one of each piece. We don’t select pieces which are “mass market” but rather items which are more individual. This means that once an item has been purchased, it really has gone.
Each piece comes in an attractive jewellery presentation box.
