Mizpah literally means watch tower in Hebrew but the giving of Mizpah rings and tokens was a symbolic gesture of an emotional tie between two people.
This is a fantastic 9ct yellow gold Mizpah ring with beautiful embossed script. The ring is hallmarked and assayed in Birmingham, England in 1910. The colouring is a beautiful light straw-yellow. This is a really beautiful and unique find!
“And [it was called] Mizpah (Watchtower); for he said, The Lord watch between me and thee, when we are absent one from another.” (Genesis, 31:49)

ABOUT OUR JEWELLERY
This piece has been specifically selected by us, for you. We choose vintage and antique items which we think are beautiful, elegant and classic at a range of price points between £30 and £3,000.
Generally, this means we only ever have one of each piece. We don’t select pieces which are “mass market” but rather items which are more individual. This means that once an item has been purchased, it really has gone.
Each piece comes in an attractive jewellery presentation box.
