This is an easy to wear and stylish 18ct antique yellow gold ring made in 1916 by William Griffiths & Sons of Northampton Street in the jewellery quarter of Birmingham, England.

It is in the style of a “Keeper ring”. The tradition of giving a keeper ring is said to have represented the idea that the receiver was worth “keeping.” The “You are a keeper” sentiment attached to these rings makes them a popular choice today as a unique wedding ring, engagement ring, eternity ring, and even an anniversary band.

This particular ring is composed of crossing gold bands with three hearts across the centre and lovely engravings. The front of the band is approximately 13mm North to South and this tapers to 5mm at the back of the ring.

Size: P 1/2 (UK) / 7.75 (US)

ABOUT OUR JEWELLERY

This piece has been specifically selected by us, for you. We choose vintage and antique items which we think are beautiful, elegant and classic at a range of price points between £30 and £3,000.

Generally, this means we only ever have one of each piece. We don’t select pieces which are “mass market” but rather items which are more individual. This means that once an item has been purchased, it really has gone.

Each piece comes in an attractive jewellery presentation box.
