This Victorian amethyst and pearl ring from 1876 is a beautiful antique piece. The band is engraved with foliate markings all the way around (although the reverse is now a little worn). This comes together with a floral cluster made up of six bright purple-pink amethyst stones and three split pearls. These are beautifully set in shaped claw settings which have been unusually carved from a bezel setting but really add to the visual of a flower.
The piece is fully hallmarked for 15ct gold and bears the P&S makers mark.
A stunning item of nearly 150 years in age!
Size L 1/2 (UK) / 6 (US).
ABOUT OUR JEWELLERY
This piece has been specifically selected by us, for you. We choose vintage and antique items which we think are beautiful, elegant and classic at a range of price points between £30 and £3,000.
Generally, this means we only ever have one of each piece. We don’t select pieces which are “mass market” but rather items which are more individual. This means that once an item has been purchased, it really has gone.
Each piece comes in an attractive jewellery presentation box.
